For these buildings and functions there exist specific requirements for the acoustic finishes of the space geared to limit resonance and the level of background noise. This can be very important inside the building as well as for the environment.
AO B.V. can limit resonance and the level of background noise the application of special soundproofing materials which are available in various measurements, shapes and colours. Besides a reduction in noise, this also delivers a significant improvement in the acoustics. By means of calculations, it is possible to indicate precisely what is the best solution to create an ideal noise situation, possibly through the lining of walls and/or ceilings with these panels in a specific pattern. With some applications, for instance in sport facilities, account must be taken of the fact that the materials used need to be ball resistant or even ‘vandal-proof’. AO B.V. has designed special panels for this purpose. These are perforated cassettes which are easy to hang vertically or horizontally. These cassettes contain a special acoustic polyester wool to absorb noise.
In office environments appearance plays an important role. AO B.V. has a broad range of products for this purpose, for example: baffles, panels in all sorts of colours, types and measurements. AO B.V. also has a system in its range that incorporates the perforated polyester canvas fabric with endless possibilities - white and black, but also printed with any image desired.
