AO B.V. can boast years of expertise in the area of noise reduction in the maritime industry. Engine noise can be reduced to a fraction through the development of new innovative products in the area of sound insulation. A flexible closed box system (Noise Killer) is an excellent example of this. AO B.V. handles the production and development of this system.

Within the maritime industry, AO B.V. has a national dealer network for individual boat owners. Within the business market AO B.V. is above all active in providing total solutions and mass productions.

Although the system is capable of being used with practically all engines, its application remains customised. AO B.V. advises and accompanies you from the concept to assembly and, if necessary, to maintenance of the box. Everything is directed to meet your needs.

To achieve the best possible noise reduction in vessels the Noise Killer box is built directly around the engine. The engine experiences no adverse effects from using the Noise-Killer. The box is made to measure and consists of heat, water and oil resistant materials. Account is taken here of revolving components, intake, exhaust, gearbox and cables. The increase in comfort on the boat usually exceeds expectations. As yet this is the only known customised product with such an outcome.

Some channels for cables can be adjusted on site. The box is easy to install and to disassemble by means of industrial Velcro.

How do we operate?

A frame is placed around the engine.
From the frame the various fabrics are measured.
The measurements are digitised into complete drawings for production.
The five fabrics for the box are produced to measure.
The fabrics are installed around the frame.
